Excellent! The Red Snapper Bayou was delicious, as was the Large Dinner Green Salad. The Churros with Vanilla Ice Cream made for a satisfying dessert. The main dining area is large, spacious, and comfortable. There is a bar and a small stage as well. There is also a nice, large patio in front. The staff was super-friendly and attentive. The place was very clean and well-lit. I decided to try Rita’s after spending a half hour uncomfortably waiting for a table at a popular restaurant nearby, and I was quite happy that I made the switch. The food was just right; the prices were good; and there was no wait! 👍🏻

Stopped by Rita’s for a meal on a Friday night while in town. Food was great! I loved the Red Snapper Bayou and the chowder. David was our server and he was friendly and attentive to our needs. We also had a check in from the bartender Anselmo as he wanted to know how our margaritas were. They were some of the best we have had and he took the time to explain how he made them and that they were what we would consider a “skinny margarita”. Everything was great and we will be sure to return on our next trip to South Padre!

I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great food and service. The people were wonderful, they were super nice. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Some of the employees came to our table to make sure we were taken care of. I ate some tacos and my friend ate fish and shrimp. We were definitely not disappointed. You’ve got to try this amazing restaurant while visiting SPI.
